Well as Summer is nearly here that brings with it a flurry of weddings. We all know someone who is getting married or someone who knows someone who’s getting married. Dresses are the staple wedding guest outfit! Here are our top 5 purple dresses for guests at a wedding from Coast.
Avianna Dress
This dress is just gorgeous, It’s so stylish I fell in love with it straight away. Its deep rich colour and different textures make it so interesting and pleasing to the eye. One shoulder dresses are very in this season, especially this type where it brings your eye to a focal point, in this case being a bow at the top of the material. The fact that the one shoulder part is an organza see-through material makes it even more interesting. This dress is fitted so it is very flattering at the boning defines your figure and brings in your waist. This would look lovely with your hair tied up with some loose curls.
Symphony Maxi Dress
This is a formal maxi dress which again is lovely. The colour is very light and summery as well as the fact the top is fitted and boned. This gives for an excellent shape to a strapless dress. The material down the side gives an asymetrical focal point to the dress and the length draws your eye down to the uneaven floaty cut of the dress. This is perfect for a wedding guest at any wedding,and also any formal event. It would look lovely and to continue on the delicate feel you could wear it with some silver strappy heels and loose hair.
This dress also comes in the same style and colour but a shorter length, Again formal but just shorter.
Katie Lou Dress
This Katie Lou Dress is just divine. Its beautifully made from silk and taffeta, with a full skirt and a bandeau around the waist. Also like the previous dress giving a good focal point. The simple design of this dress has been around for years but with new materials and ideas, it’s making the dresses turn out gorgeous. The extra little layers at the top and bottom give the dress an added touch of difference. It’s short but sits on the knee, so a flattering length for any woman. This would be really pretty with a half up half down hair do and some ivory heels and clutch.
Jocasta Dress
This is a lovely deep purple colour, very rich and soft. This dress is tight and fitted, quite plain to see but very flattering and attention grabbing once on. It has a lovely deep V neckline and has a panelling detail hidden in the dress. The Jocasta dress is made from silk so very nice to wear and perfect for the summer weather and can easily be re-worn to another function in the winter with a simple Pashmina scarf. This would look great teamed with a tight chignon type hair do and a fascinator with some black heels. This dress also comes in Cream and Green colours which are equally as nice as the Deep Purple.
Merenge Duchess Satin Dress
This dress is lovely. It’s fitted, shaped and colorfull and has detail in the band across the waist. This comes in a multi-coloured print and also a jade colour with the same black belt. The dress sits on the knee, and I think it would look best with black shoes and bag, and a curled side ponytail. This dress would look lovely on the mother of the bride.
