Good old faithful wedges, they come round time and time again and at some point we’ve all owned a pair. In all different shapes and sizes there is something for everyone, come and check out this lovely lot, all the wedges from all of our favourite stores and see if there is any that take your fancy!
Wedges have come in and out of fashion so many times we’ve all lost count by now but we’ve all had a pair at some point or own one now! Wearing them couldn’t be easier, sling them on under a pair of jeans, show some leg with a denim mini skirt or simply with a dress; there are so many variations of the wedge that they could go with anything. Smart or casual they really have got their toes into all kinds of fashions.
For the warmer days or an indoor event, a nice strappy pair will compliment a pretty dress, or lengthen your legs in a pair of shorts. Thick straps or thin ones can make all the difference, thick for a casual daytime look, or thin them down for the night for a sexier feel, show off that pedicure ladies! Mix and match casual attire with a sexy shoe or if you really want to wear that outfit but think it’s a bit too glamorous, break out those casual wedges and tone it down a notch or two.
Maybe a pair of wedge heel court shoes for the office? No fear of getting that stiletto caught in any gaps in the pavement on the way to work, with a flat sole they make you feel safe (and they look good too!) So many of us want to wear heels to look good all day (especially the vertically challenged like myself) but our feet just complain about it, well wedges give you that height without the steep heel we often cringe at the thought of.
Cork based, raffia, or even rope they can all look very different and there’s no shame in making sure you have one of each just in case! You can never have too many shoes no matter what anyone tells you. Wedges will change from season to season but they will always be hiding in your closet somewhere.
