Soap and Glory Scrub Your Nose In It Review

For as long as I can remember I have hated one particular aspect of my face: the blocked pores on my nose. Now, I appreciate that what seem like endless black craters in my skin appear as barely noticeable to most other people, but to me these craters where the first thing I noticed and the one this I tried to disguise over all others. This is until, whilst mindlessly wondering around Boots of a drab Saturday afternoon, a bright pink Soap and Glory product shone off the shelf. We’ve all had that feeling before when we see the beauty product that will change our whole lives! This one product will finally resolve all the problems with our skin and give us that airbrushed magazine photo shoot complexion that we seek so dearly. Well this was that product, promising to totally diminish my blocked pores and give me a smooth and crater free nose.

But, once comfortably sat on my bathroom shelf, did it live up to this hype that I had thrust upon it by merely reading the very carefully constructed information on the back? I am so very pleased to say that it did all this and more. Benefit’s scrub your nose it delivers a wonderful fresh feeling, similar to, I can only imagine, standing on top of a mountain dripping wet in a breeze: totally refreshed and cleansed. And the blocked pore on my nose I hear you say? Totally clean. This product does not profess to shrink pore size so while my larger pores were still visible, the speckling of blockages, that made me look like I’d been seasoned with black pepper, were totally gone. Even under my terrifying but continually useful magnifying mirror not a speck of dirt was to be seen.

The scrub it’s self is a wonderful blue colour with a minty scent. Don’t imagine this is like rubbing toothpaste on your face though, far from it, this is a wonderful tingly fresh scent that leaves you feeling totally clean and light. The scrub particles are large enough to feel like they are working whilst not irritating or leaving the skin raw and red. This fresh feeling is a God send the morning after a late night (especially one involving alcohol) polishing away the night before to leave a radiant new you glowing back.

This is a product that doesn’t stop delivering, not only does it really clear those block pores when used as a scrub, it delivers just as well when used a face mask, great just before a big night out to ensure your face is flawless before applying your make up. As clique as it sounds you can really feel it working. Heavy dirty clogged skin is totally renewed in just five minutes.

So I appreciate that it sounds a little like soap and glory paid me to write this overly glowing review but trust me when I say that I am a very average 20 year old: prone to a few blemishes and blocked pores. I guess I just got lucky and found a product that really works, and I am confident to say that I am sure it can work for you as well. At £7.40 it sits neatly in a mid price range but by golly is it worth every last penny. Well that’s what I think anyway.
