Why we love it: Simple, light, non greasy formula and perfect for sensitive skin!
Simple have a very large range of products, mainly skin products. They have allsorts of moisturisers, facial wipes, hydrating creams, make up removers, cleansers and toners, not to mention the Simple Baby and Simple for Men range. The idea behind the range is quite simply, simple! There are no additives and no perfumes so in turn no scent but this is hardly a downfall of the range, it is the selling point as it is perfect for those with sensitive skin or those who dont want to clog their skin with unnecessary additives and chemicals.
Simple skincare range is really affordable. It is definitely not at the expensive end of the budget however it’s miles better than the cheaper ranges that we all tend to go for when hit with a budget. Simple skincare really is worth the extra few pounds!
Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser is by far one of my favourite products, It’s so light and fluffy to apply and having sensitive and dry skin I really feel the benefits of using a moisturiser which contains no additives or chemicals. Some other moisturisers I’ve tried in the past take quite a few applications before my skin feels ‘hydrated’. However this doesnt happen with Simple. I use a drop about the size of a ten pence piece and it hydrates my whole face and neck. This, in turn, makes the very reasonably priced bottle of Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser last longer!
The moisturiser contains a range of active and natural ingredients, Vitamin B5 to smooth, restore and soften your skin and Vitamin E improves overall skin condition. The natural ingredients are glycerin and Borage seed oil.
The design of the Simple range is very plain and again, simple, which is what I like about it. It doesn’t feel like your paying for fancy packaging which I hate to do!
If you have dry skin, then a Hydrating Moisturiser is definitely a must. This one by Simple is good as it feels fresh when you apply it. Simple really feels like it is hydrating your skin. Best application is by rubbing the cream on your face in small circular motions upwards all over until absorbed. The moisturiser is light and non greasy, which makes this Simple moisturiser perfect! It doesnt take too long to absorb as it’s a light moisturiser which, for me, is much more preferable. Who wants to moisturise then have to wait half an hour before being able to apply makeup or go out?! Not me, that’s why this Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser works so well for me.
Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser works best in conjunction with other items from the Simple range such as the facewipes, facewash, and make up remover for a start. However in the past I’ve been in a situation where I’ve not had the full set to hand and the moisturiser has worked perfectly on it’s own. I’ve never had any major facial skin complaints and I have used the Simple range for about 6 years now. Simple has different kinds of moisturiser so, for example, if you have flaky or oily skin then there is a moisturiser to suit.
Boots sell this Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser for only £3.49 and it earns you 12 Boots points. See other articles for great reviews of other Simple products from www.offersboutique.co.uk!
