This Chanel Foundation is one of the best foundations I have ever used. It has the perfect consistency for a foundation; my skin is usually a little dry and often needs two coats of moisturiser after I have washed my face before applying foundation; however this foundation has a creamy consistency containing moisturisers meaning I no longer need the second application of moisturiser. The foundation comes in all the different varieties of shades for each individual skin tone. When buying online there is a shade patch page where you can look and match up what shade your skin is and what foundation would match. I found it very helpful when I couldn’t decide between two shades.

The foundation itself has a hidden SPF of 15 which I found worked a treat last summer, it means your face is protected from the sun no matter what the weather and if it is extremely hot you don’t need to reapply sun cream on top of your makeup, which of course is messy and splatting cream all over it will ruin your makeup so I found this to be the perfect solution.

Chanel foundation made me feel great when wearing it; it made my skin look flawless and smooth as if I had never had a blemish or spot. It is also long-lasting as I’ve found with other foundations I’ve felt like its ‘worn off’ half way through the day, Chanel doesn’t, it definitely does last all day!

I found applying it with my fingers worked best rather than a sponge, a sponge tends to hold lots of the foundation which to me is a waste, when you are paying quite a lot for a good foundation you want to use it all and not waste any!

The foundations texture is very smooth and almost silky and satin like to the touch. It comes in a bottle with pump application and with each pump there should be enough foundation for one application. I found it a pretty good measure and this stops you using too much. This bottle is 30ml of foundation and lasted me approximately 6 months wearing it pretty much almost every day. The overall look after application was definitely radiant and natural. Once you’ve tried this foundation you will not go back!
