Launched at the Embassy Club, London at the start of 2011, Rare Fashion’s Opulence collection is a range of luxurious and exquisite pieces with a slightly bigger price tag than the normal Rare pieces. The 2011/2012 collection features a mix of feminine florals, rich golds and purples and Twilight inspired gothic undertones. With prices starting at £69.00 and ranging up to the more expensive £168.00 there’s something for a girl on every budget to afford.
We’ve taken a look at our favourite pieces from the collection…
Raspberry Ballerina Opulence Dress
Perhaps one of the most detailed pieces on the Rare Fashion site, this asymmetric one sleeved lace corset dress with tutu skirt really knows how to get everyone talking- for all the right reasons. Available to buy in black and gold as well as seen here in raspberry, this ballerina dress will definitely make you feel like a celebrity for the night. Priced at £120.00, it’s the perfect dress for a special occasion such as a birthday, prom or party. Because of the beautiful detailing of this dress, keep accessories and hair extremely simple and let the dress make a statement.
Opulence Poppy Print Palazzo Trousers
For ladies on a budget, these poppy print palazzo trousers are one of the cheapest items from the collection and should be added to the wish list now as they are priced at a very reasonable £49.00. The palazzo pants have caused a hit this Spring/Summer and look set to continue throughout Autumn/Winter 2011. Seen on a-list stars such as 90210’s Annalynne McCord, Nicky Hilton and Mischa Barton, the palazzo pants are extremely versatile and easy to wear. With these pale pink palazzo pants, we suggest a black or white chiffon top/vest to keep attention on the pants. Whilst the weather
is still nice, combine with some sandals during the day and switch to some wedges or heels for after work drinks. The same poppy print design is also available on an Opulence jumpsuit and is priced at £165.00
Opulence Tie Dye Chiffon Print Wiggle Hem Babydoll
Rare Fashion have always been very good at mixing cute designs with an air of sexiness thrown in for good measure and this dress is no exception. This Babydoll dress keeps a fun, quirky edge with its tie dye skirt and wiggle hem. It gives a loose and flowing appearance which looks great in contrast with the tight bodice. The see through top gives a nod to the sheer black tops we have seen gracing designers and highstreet collections alike from the fetish trend. At £28 this is certainly not one of the most expensive pieces on offer and so it doesn’t matter if you only get to wear it once! The structured cups keep you very secure so there is no need to worry about bra straps ruining the sheer look at the very top of the garment.
Opulence Asymmetric Pleated Maxi Dress
For Hollywood glamour, look no further than this luxurious lime green one sleeved pleated maxi dress, complete with a buckle belt, from the Opulence collection. We believe it’s one of the best valued items from the collection, as well as being one of our favourites. Floor length, this dress oozes allure and could easily be passed off as designer even though it is priced at a significantly cheaper £155.00. Pleats have been added to help to add a streamline silhouette whilst the detachable belt helps to enhance a slim waist. To be the belle of the ball, add a tan clutch with either tan or brown high heels to complete the look. A guaranteed head turner.
