Spots and polka dots have been all over the catwalks recently and here at Offers Boutique we love this fun trend. Since I’ve been going dotty for all things spotty, especially the Spot Print Midi Skirt. I have trawled the online fashion high street to find the best of the bunch and compiled a little inspiration mood board to share – and hopefully inspire – some spot print style!
Based around the Dorothy Perkins black spot circle midi skirt, I envisage this outfit as being perfect for the office or a day out shopping with friends. The spot print midi skirt is spot on (excuse the pun!) for this season, not quite resigning ourselves to covering every bit of skin in an attempt to keep warm as the temperatures cool, this length of skirt is an ideal compromise and could even be worn with ankle socks if the September breeze becomes too cold to bare. What’s more, it’s only £24 – amazing!
I have paired the spot print midi skirt with a Select Fashion plain crop long sleeve shirt, another bargain at £12. I took some inspiration from the likes of Mary-Kate Olsen with this one, keeping the look smart but casual and loose. The off-white colour is perfect for autumn without being too dull.
I chose the Miss Selfridge hyper peep toe slingback shoe to continue the slightly oversized look throughout the whole outfit. At £48 these are the most expensive part of the look however the chunky heel keeps the outfit on trend while the peep toe ensures femininity and elegance.
The Topshop black frame lock bag has a gorgeous leathery texture to it and adds some structure to the look plus it’s an ideal size for fitting in the umbrella, purse, keys, make-up etc….and has separate compartments for keeping things extra organised! Not at all bad for £32.
I felt the Accessorize arianna statement ring finished off the outfit nicely, at just £8 it prevents the look from being too bland and adds a little touch of vintage inspired style to the ensemble. Check out the board below and get ready to shop for your ready-made outfit!!
