With the party season behind us it can be difficult to drop the sequins, sparkles and reindeer prints and revert back to regular (stylish) winter wear. This outfit idea is based on the Topshop: Black Oversize Roll Sleeve Tee. At only £15.00 it’s a great basic oversized t-shirt to have in your wardrobe, it can be dressed up or down and goes with almost everything. The relatively high neckline means you don’t need to worry about the loose fit exposing too much skin when you bend forward and the roll sleeves sit at a great length, just covering that bugbear area of the upper arm.
We teamed the Topshop Black Oversize Roll Sleeve Tee with the New Look: Flecked Cable Knit Cardigan in cream, costing £29.99. Certainly capable of keeping you warm on the colder days, this cable knit cardigan boasts full length sleeves, two front pockets, large buttons and cable knit detailing on the front.
The Miss Selfridge: Mid Wash Stud Shorts are a classic option, paired with a black tee. Chances are you will already have some denim shorts stowed away from the summer months but we’re especially fond of the silver stud detailing on the Miss Selfridge Mid Wash pair. These come in at £32.00 and will work throughout the winter months alongside thigh high socks, tights or a combination of both.
Miss Selfridge always have a great selection of stylish socks and we selected the Grey Cable Detail Over Knee Socks for extra warmth and comfort and something a little different from plain old tights. At just £8.50 we love how the cable detail fits in with the silver detailing on the stud shorts and the Miss Selfridge socks also match the flecks of grey on the New Look knit!
Accessorise the look with this seasons staple pendant charm – a cross. The What’s About Town: Silver Style Swarovski Crystal Cross Pendant is bang on trend and very pretty! A bargain at only £10.15 (reduced from £14.50), the chain can be worn up to 43cm in length, ideal over an oversized T-shirt.
