After attending the third night of Liverpool fashion week at Newz Bar, I was instantly inspired to buy myself practically all of the jaw dropping party dresses that were on display, casually strolling down the catwalk, tempting me to break my bank balance. There were two main collections, which were extremely eye-catching, the first being Fabulous Boutique (www.fabulousboutique.co.uk), followed by the ultimate high street brand, Karen Millen (www.karenmillen.co.uk).
Fabulous Boutique has been one of fashion’s best-kept secrets before they made their appearance at Liverpool Fashion week. They offer a collection containing some unique designs for party dresses and all at reasonable prices too!
The first two dresses to take on the catwalk really grabbed the attention of every fashionista who attended. The first item was a shocking red dress with a black, thin roped waist belt, this was then contrasted with a REVERSE: Blue Tassle Kimono. Next was a similar look with a black fitted bodycon dress with a contrasting twist, teamed with a maxi REVERSE: Long Kimono in floral black and white. Both these looks giving a simple block colour dress a floral and edgier look.
