Friday 21st October 2011, Fazeley Studios, Birmingham. This was the venue for a night of fun, friends and most importantly fashion. With a mix of newly graduated designers, emerging designers and some more established ones taking to the catwalk is was a sight to be seen. Such a variety of collections from couture, to swimwear and ready-to-wear lines there was something to suit everyone’s tastes coming down the catwalk. With a raffle and live music entertainment to top the evening off you really shouldn’t have missed it!
Backstage was the hub of fashion chaos, models, designers, clothes and helpers converged behind the black curtains and here’s a couple of pics from the scene!
After a little waiting, and lots of rushing around we all took our seats ready for the show, with different categories for designers, from each one a winner would be announced. Judging would be done by the elite panel of industry professionals consisting of Vivienne Whelan, bespoke womenswear designer, Chris Insherwood, creative director of Fenchurch, Alan Sharman, managing director at Alan Sharman Agency, Hollie Bracciale, fashio stylist at Sixty Nine Magazine, and Hind Hadj, head of marketing at Claire’s. What a tough job they had on their hands!
